We have an election!

The Convention to Elect the next Bishop of Idaho has elected the Rev. Brian Thom after six ballots.

In order to elect, nominee must receive 27 Clergy and 60 Lay votes.

What stunningly wonderful news! Congratulations, Brian. God bless you one and all! Betty Stone's daughter phoned to break the good tidings. I(Roy) phoned Bishop Ladehoff right away and he was overjoyed. I also phoned the parish office, so it should be announced at St. John's in the morning.
