Nominees for Bishop to Visit Idaho

Meet the bishop nominees at deanery events during the Walkabout, June 3-5.
The first week of June has been scheduled for the Bishop Nominee Walk About. From June 2nd through June 6th, the nominees will be in Idaho. We are scheduling presentations for the nominees as follows:
• June 3, 2008 - All Saints, Boise, for the Western and Southwestern Deaneries.
• June 4, 2008 - Herrett Center, College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls, for the Central Deanery.
• June 5, 2008 - St. Luke's, Idaho Falls, for the Eastern Deanery.
The presentations will start with a reception where you will have the opportunity to meet the nominees in an informal setting. Following the reception, each candidate will have the opportunity to answer questions that have been provided ahead of time by members of the diocese. In order to give each candidate time to respond to our questions, we are setting ground rules that will be strictly followed.
• All questions MUST be in writing and received by May 20th.
• The "Question Form" is what you should use to submit your question(s). It has the information we are requesting and the mailing address for submission. Mail the Question Form to Gretchen Burdin at SE 5th Way, Meridian, ID, 83642, or by email to gretchenb@cableone.net.
• To be considered, you must include your name, parish and deanery. Since deaneries may have different things they want the nominees to respond to, the questions will be sorted by deanery.
This is your opportunity to participate in the process and provide your delegates with your input, so we encourage you to submit questions and to attend the presentations. We also ask you to encourage the youth in your parishes to submit questions and to attend the presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to participate in the process of selecting the next Bishop of Idaho.
Information and Question Forms will be provided to the delegates, Clergy and Wardens by mid-April so if you need more forms be sure to contact one of them.
